riv.et.ing : a design studio, founded by Shelley Parker in her New York City apartment in 2014. Uprooted and replanted in a bigger, brighter space, Parker single-handedly designs and executes one-of-a-kind accessories.

Parker has been developing and refining her craft since her fine art days at UCLA. She retains her playful yet serious love of harmonizing color and texture. Parker has spent the 21st century as a professor of handbags at the Fashion Institute of Technology, developing innovative curricula that mingle old world craft with modern technology, with a special focus on sustainability and upcycling.
